The Stats Manager tool allows you to control the generation
of statistics reports used by the Site
Statistics tool.

Why
Would I Use It?
The stats reports generated each night by the Site Statistics tool
accumulate over time, and can sometimes account for a large amount
of space used in your account. This tool allows you to clear out the
reports currently in your account, and choose whether or not to continue
generating new reports.
NOTE: The raw log files generated in your account are not counted as part of your disk quota, but the reports that are generated are counted.
How
does it work?
When you click on 'Stats Manager' you will see a screen similar to
the one below, which will tell you the current status of the report
generator for your domain:
The menu currently has only one active choice, to disable the stats reports. When you click it you will see:
An option is presented to also remove the current stats reports in your account. If you choose that option, the reports will stop *and* the current ones will be deleted. If you do not choose the 'Remove' option, the stats reports will stop, but the current reports will not be removed from your account.
The tool also tells you the current space used by your stats reports in MegaBytes (M). If you choose to delete current stats you will see a confirmation screen:
The system will alert you that you are about to remove the reports, and that a few system files will remain behind after the reports are removed. If you click 'Yes" you will see:
The tool now tells you the current, reduced size of your stats report folder.
You can re-enable stats at the Main Menu, and the reports will begin generating again that night.

The Stats Manager is officially in 'Beta' mode, which means it is
not yet completed. New features will be added to this tool, including
the ability to archive old stats for storage on your computer, and
the removal of stats reports based on a date range.
